GWISH Movie Night!

Movie Night!
Coded Bias
Friday, April 16th, at 7:00 PM Hawaiian Standard Time (synchronized streaming via Kast)

Join us for our fifth GWISH Movie Night! We're watching Coded Bias, a new documentary covering the discovery of MIT researcher Joy Buolamwini that facial recognition algorithms do not see dark-skinned faces accurately, and the impacts that this tech has on our society.

We'll be watching again via Kast. More information about the Kast app:
  • You will need Google Chrome
  • We recommend that you follow these instructions before the watch party begins so that you do not have any "black-screen" issues.
  • When in doubt, log out and log back in. Restart your internet browser. Rejoin the party. Look through the technical FAQs.

Register for the event following the button below, or visit this link.
